To celebrate Cooper's Birthday week we decided to take the boys to Yogi Bear Campground in Buena Vista, Va. We were able to convince Scotia to come with us, so we had lots of fun
We did lots of fun things, but fishing was a favorite for Chris. He caught several trout and even cooked them for us over the campfire (Yum!). Kind of nice having a husband who I know we can survive with in the wilderness, if need be.
Carson and Cooper also loved to fish...
And ride the 4-wheeler...
Or throw rocks into the rive...

However; the fun things about Yogi Bear were the jumping pillow...
Splash pad (water playground)...

And of course, the Lake...
Seeing Yogi's girlfriend wasn't exactly a highlight of the trip, even if she did make a special trip to your tent site.
But, making S'mores made everything all better.
The first day we were there we got to ride the wagon with Yogi Bear himself, but unfortunately didn't get pictures of that trip. Things were good when he was on one side of the trailer, and we sat on the other. That night it started POURING rain (and thundering) around 3 am. I thought for sure that we would be drenched, but thanks to Chris who stayed up to be certain our shell wasn't touching the tent itself, we remained completely dry...amazing!
Holy cow...how do I get a jumping pillow :)
