On my long list of undone blogs is Carson's 4th birthday. It was October 5th. Instead of doing 1 big party, we ended up with 2 medium size ones. For his actual birthday we had all of the Dalia side of the family over to our house for an evening of fun.

First was decorating, and he insisted on helping with the job.

After dinner we did a pinata...which was the main thing he requested to do for his birthday. What kid doesn't LOVE a pinata. He is all about transformers and super hero's, so transformers was what he got.

Then we went back inside for some birthday singing and cupcakes.

Then it was time for Carson's next favorite thing, and that was presents.

Of course every child wanted to help him unwrap each gift

Finally, his Dad threw together a bon fire for him so they could roast s'mores, but the sugar intake was at maximum level so the s'mores didn't actually occur. The boys still had a blast playing with the fire and seeing what sticks they could get to catch.

Carson's second party occurred on Sunday, October 8th at his Granny Carol's house. This party enlisted all the Green side of the family. He was super excited for another cake (especially cookie cake) and more presents.

It is hard to believe the little munchkin is already 4 years old. He is intelligent, stubborn, sweet, independent, creative and has a bit of a temper. He has improved 10 fold in acknowledgeing others exist (besides his parents) and saying hi to them, and giving an occasional hug. Almost a year in primary has given him the ability to sit in his sit for more than 20 seconds. His favorite thing(s) to do is probably going to his cousins houses and chick-fil-a (where he gets to trade his toy for an ice cream). He is definitely a momma's boy, but is ALL boy (he hates anything pink). He loves to draw, cut, and glue and writes his name all on his own. He will write about anything is you tell him how to spell it. Carson says some of the funniest things and brings so much joy to our lives...we love him dearly!
While folding socks with me: "This can make a man tired!"
