For 2011 Thanksgiving we followed the family to Daufuskie Island, SC. This is an island without a bridge, so we were required to head over on a ferry. Upon arrival golf carts were required because there were minimal cars.

One large house was rented that most of the kids stayed in, and then a smaller one that Mom, Dad, and younger siblings stayed in.
The first several days were sunny and warm, so we had lots of fun in the ocean swimming (or fishing for Chris).
Other days weren't as warm so we did other things like play inside or head to the playground
Then on Thanksgiving day the whole family (except Jenn & fam and Bethany & Eric) was able to be there so we had a big feast and then sat around and said what we were thankful for.

Our last day we took some individual family pictures where my children REFUSED to cooperate.
