Happy 3rd Birthday Cooper

Caden being only a month old made me want to keep Cooper's birthday simple, but fun.  So, on June 18th we took the boys to Tom and Carolyn's (Chris' Grandparents) to celebrate.  His mom had gone all out and hosted a "George" party (in honor of Cooper wanting Caden's name to be George).

Then on June 23rd, his actual birthday, the Dalia side gathered at Grayson Highlands Park to celebrate.  This was only 3 days after getting out of the hospital with Caden so we kept it simple.

Cupcakes were an obvious must.  They were a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup Cupcake (Vanilla cupcake with peanut butter filling and chocolate icing and crushed Reese's...YUM)
After eating the kids did a water balloon fight.  They loved it! I used regular balloons so they didn't pop as easily and allowed the kids to run after lost ones.

Cooper's big gift was a trampoline and so far they love it and no real injuries yet.

Notes on Cooper: He is a stubborn, hard-headed, opinionated little guy.  He adamently refused to even sit on a potty and then 1 week after turning 3 he potty trained over night.  He has no accidents and doesn't even wear pull-ups to bed.  When he wants (or doesn't want) something then he doesn't give up until it is his way.  His tantrums can send the most patient person over the edge, but his love is just as strong.  He tells me every day that "we're best friends mom", but then if he is mad at me then that is the first thing he takes back "Your not my best friend".  He insists I lay with him each and every night when he first lays down for bed (but sadly that is diminishing because of Caden needing attention).  He still LOVES his thumb and Boo (sock monkey).  He would probably have starved to death if it weren't for Go-Gurts since that is the absolute only thing you can guarentee he will eat.  Every other food item is literally a hit or miss.  He can count to 10 and knows some of his alphabet.  He is the epitome of a "mommy's boy" because he insist I do EVERYTHING for him.  He is funny and loving and we're glad to have him with us.
