It was on Friday that big bro Matt (along with Rhonda & Jake) showed up for the weekend. Since they were around mom said she was having her Christmas meal, because she wanted to enjoy Christmas day without having the pressure of cooking. So, we chilled Friday and Saturday with M,R & J. Saturday was the meal day, and afterwards mom had gotten the stuff to make/decorate sugar cookies, and two Christmas tree cakes. The kids had a blast.

Pre-Christmas Party
Due to an ice/wind storm we lost our electricity early December 9th and did not regain it until Friday Dec 11th, late. I think God was testing my prepardness (since no one else related to us lost theirs), and I failed MISERABLY. Thankfully we did have one thing going for us...a woodstove. We got to camp out in our living room for 2 nights (not a long time, but when your in the moment it is FOREVER). We had no idea when we would regain electricity so on Friday Chris headed to Johnson City and bought a generator. It was on his way home that it turned back on. But hey, we are one step closer to be prepared right?

The three boys: Jake (23 months), Carson (26 months), Cohen (22 months). Jake is big into somersaults so he was the ringleader in getting the other two tumbling around. Cohen turned out to be a pro. Carson was a little more timid with getting started, but then opened up.
